Cagliari City Hall meets with UEFA to decide the stadium's future.

The meeting between UEFA, Cagliari Calcio, and the administration regarding the new stadium began at around 11:30 a.m. at the City Hall . The delegation was welcomed by Cagliari Mayor Massimo Zedda , his deputy Maria Cristina Mancini , and Sports Councilor Giuseppe Macciotta . UEFA delegate Michele Uva was present . Also present was the president of the Serie A Football League, Ezio Maria Simonelli.
Cagliari Calcio were represented by President Tommaso Giulini, Vice President Maurizio Fiori (representing the new investors who joined the club a few months ago), CEO Stefano Melis , lawyer Antonio Romei (legal advisor), and engineer Alessandro Gosti (technical advisor). Also present were engineer Paolo Cervini, CEO of Polifin - Gewiss - Costim Real Estate, and lawyer Francesco Percassi, General Manager of the industrial partner Costim Real Estate , in addition to the technicians who participated.
The meeting will seek to resolve the critical issues that have emerged with the project, particularly the concession fee that Cagliari Calcio would have to pay to the Municipality.
