Water bomb in Bosa, 6 families evacuated in Macomer. A section of state highway 292 has been closed

A water bomb hit this afternoon in Bosa, invading the streets and flooding a dozen basements in via Manzoni.

The teams of the Macomer and Cuglieri firefighters intervened on the spot and freed the houses from the water. Inconvenience due to bad weather also in Macomer, where there was a collapse in the bathroom of an apartment in a building of the Municipality, in via Sant'Ilario, where six families live.

The building, already affected by the collapse of part of a ceiling a few days ago, was evacuated by firefighters and municipal technicians who declared it unusable. The six families have been accommodated in the Xaverian institute waiting for the safety conditions of their homes to be restored.

After the heavy rains of recent days, a section of the state road 292 "NordOccidente Sarda" near the municipality of Villanova Monteleone, in the province of Sassari, has been closed.

"The provision was necessary to allow the restoration of the road surface affected by deterioration due to the incessant rains of recent days," Anas said in a statement.

The technicians of the road manager are present on site for checks and for the restoration of normal traffic.
