The Carabinieri of the Villasimius station have reported a 41-year-old unemployed man, resident in Villasimius and already known to the police, for the crime of aggravated theft.

The man, subject to a precautionary measure requiring him to remain in the municipality, was caught by police after a theft was reported at a supermarket on Via Raffaello. According to the reconstruction, he stole food and beverages worth approximately €190, attempting to quickly escape.

The timely intervention of the Carabinieri allowed them to stop him shortly thereafter and recover all the goods, which were returned to their rightful owner.
