Sardinia is still burning: 15 fires across the island, Super Puma takes flight in Nurri.

Fifteen fires were reported today in Sardinia. In one case, the intervention of the regional fleet's aircraft was necessary, with the support of the national air convoy.

The flames have re-erupted in Nurri, a municipality already affected by fires in recent months, in the countryside near S'Axellinus. Firefighting operations were directed by personnel from the Isili Forestry Corps Station, with support from helicopter crews deployed from the CFVA bases in Villasalto, Sorgono, and Fenosu (Super Puma).

Also on the field were two teams from the Forestas Agency from the Villanovatulo-Suergiu Lobau and Isili-Monte Simudis construction sites, as well as volunteers from Isili-Prociv Sarcidano and the Nurri municipal team.
