He imported cars from European countries, resold them but did not pay VAT. The fraud was discovered by officials of the Customs and Monopolies Agency of Cagliari during the checks on a company in Oristano that trades wholesale cars.

The value of the VAT fraud is equal to 90 thousand euros, the figure that the holder should have declared in 2020 but has not submitted any documentation.

The investigations carried out in Italy and Germany confirmed the transactions carried out. The head of the company was reported to the Prosecutor of Oristano for the violation of tax legislation, while the office of the Inland Revenue proceeded to terminate the related VAT number.
