San Sperate: Kitten falls into a basin; police rescue him.

There was much concern today over a small kitten that ended up in the waters of a large pond located on private land on the outskirts of San Sperate.

Three young women raised the alarm after hearing the feline meowing desperately. They guarded the animal without leaving, waiting for help.

A team of firefighters from the Cagliari operations center, supported by the Carabinieri, responded to the scene . The officers recovered the kitten from the water, while the firefighters performed initial rescue maneuvers: the animal had ingested a large amount of water.

The kitten was then entrusted to its owner , found nearby, who immediately took it to a vet for the necessary treatment.
