Today Tuili experienced a day dedicated to vintage cars, a perfect mix of passion and motoring history. The Auto e Moto d'Epoca Sardinia association concluded 2023 with the award ceremony of the winners of the regularity races, giving enthusiasts an unforgettable experience of motor tourism.

The event featured 45 cars that plowed through the streets of Tuili , bringing with them the charm of bygone eras. The caravan traveled along the roads of southern Sardinia, starting from Cagliari and speeding along state roads 131 and 197 until reaching its final destination.

In the town of Marmilla the vintage cars paraded through the streets, giving emotions to all the enthusiasts present. Tuili, in addition to being the theater of the event, offered participants the opportunity to immerse themselves in its history. The caravan stopped in the nineteenth-century Villa Asquer, a residence that preserves the memory of a noble family of Ligurian origins. Participants were able to admire not only the car engines, but also the natural and historical beauties that characterize this land.

The day continued with a visit to the Museum of the Olive, Oil and Musical Instruments, which recounted the tradition of olive growing through period images, stories and tools. The event was not only an opportunity to display jewels on four wheels, but also a moment of sharing and socializing. The visit to the museum continued with the launeddas master Franco Melis, with his accompaniment in the construction and playing of the musical instrument.

The president of the Auto e Moto d'Epoca Sardinia association, Alessandro Casciu, commented on the success of the year, underlining the great participation of the members and the infinite esteem of the public. «It was a year full of activities, starting from the first months of 2023, due to the great participation of the members, but also due to the infinite esteem of the public», he says at the end of the day, «vintage cars, once again time, they show themselves in all their beauty but above all they have allowed us to get to know a local reality like that of Tuili, behind its history there are the roots of each of us".

The 2023 overall ranking saw Alessio Allena triumph in first place, followed by Alessio Bellisai, second and Sergio Fornasier, third. Gianfranco Sequi occupies fourth position. Fifth place for Alessandro Virzì and Sergio Mibelli. The event concluded with the delivery of certificates and gifts to all participants, leaving the promise of a 2024 full of new emotions and adventures in the world of vintage cars.
