Migrant arrivals continue to hit the coasts of southern Sardinia. On Wednesday evening , another 37 were intercepted by Guardia di Finanza and the Coast Guard in the sea south of Capo Teulada.
The groups, on three different boats, were located at different times and escorted to the commercial port of Sant'Antioco.
Ground staff and members of the Assosulcis civil protection organization were waiting for them on the dock, bringing them water and clothing, especially for the youngest children, who are increasingly present among the latest arrivals.
Also on site were the 118 personnel from the Sant'Antioco Avas and the officers from the Carbonia police station.
Late in the evening, everyone was transported to the first reception center in Monastir by the designated bus.
