Fear erupted last night on Via Fracastoro, Cagliari. A fire broke out on the third floor of an apartment building around 10:30 PM.

Teams from the fire brigade headquarters responded to the scene: with the support of a fire engine, a ladder truck, and a water tanker, they put out the blaze, which involved a balcony, small appliances, and part of the kitchen.

The area was secured and the flames were prevented from spreading to the entire house and adjacent apartments.

Despite the initial alarm, no one was reported injured. Police were also on the Monte Mixi road, along with, as a precaution, 118 emergency workers and an ambulance.
