"If they don't clean our street, we'll close." This is the alarm raised by Fabrizio Fanni, one of the owners of the "I due mari" kiosk on the beach at Punta Molentis. He was not damaged in Sunday's devastating fire , but needs a quick cleanup before he can resume business. This afternoon, he presented the request directly to Alessandra Todde, during the regional president's inspection: "I'm furious. There are 16 families who depend on me. When will the cleanup be done?"

"Since the fire was started deliberately, there's little that can be done if the area is under seizure by the Prosecutor's Office," Todde—who had attended the Villasimius City Council meeting that afternoon —replied to Fanni. "We need to find a concrete solution. I assure you, it's in our best interest."

Fanni reiterated the need to clean up the area to allow business to resume: " The important thing is that people can now pass through and that we can work . On Sunday, some friends helped us rescue people." The kiosk owner then continued along the shore, next to Todde: "What are we going to do? We have to find a solution."
