The president of the TAR of Sardinia, Marco Buricelli , is a positive opinion regarding the progress of the activity carried out by the Sardinian administrative court last year. Appeals are increasing, but the number of pending cases is decreasing , demonstrating the great activity carried out by magistrates and administrative staff.

And what was outlined during the opening report of the administrative judicial year, which was held this morning in the TAR headquarters in Piazza del Carmine in Cagliari. «In 2023», clarified the president, «both the number of appeals proposed increased, 953, with a +13.6% compared to the 839 appeals in 2022, and the number of decisions taken: 1219, with 761 ordinary sentences, 151 short sentences and 307 presidential decrees abandoning appeals lasting more than five years and resulting in lack of interest, with a further and significant decrease in pending appeals, equal to approximately 13% of the stocks , from 1942 to the end of 2022 to 1684 as of 31 December 2023".

The ceremony, in front of the assembled panels of the two sections of the administrative court, was attended by a large number of political and military authorities, as well as the entire world of administrative lawyers and the heads of the other Sardinian judiciaries.
