The Iloghe Carabinieri Squad arrested three people, two adults (one Italian and one Moroccan) and a 17-year-old for illegal marijuana cultivation.

According to the investigation, the suspects allegedly cultivated nearly 400 marijuana plants in the Loculi countryside, approximately 1 meter tall, with an active ingredient of 2.89%. The searches, which included the suspects' homes and a warehouse used for storage and drying, allowed the police to seize an additional 10.2 kg of marijuana and cultivation materials.

The arrests were triggered when the suspects decided to cut down the entire plantation and relocate it elsewhere. Upon seeing the Carabinieri, the Moroccan citizen fled on foot through the fields. When caught, he was arrested following a fight that resulted in injuries to a soldier, which the Nuoro hospital deemed curable within five days.

The operation was validated by the ordinary judicial authorities, and the minors and the suspects remain under house arrest.
