They relied on the GPS, which led them along rough roads and mule tracks. And eventually, they got lost.

The Tempio firefighters had to intervene this afternoon around 4:00 PM to rescue a family of German tourists—a father, mother, and a two-year-old girl—who had lost their bearings near the Liscia dam, in the Luras area.

The team, receiving precise directions, was able to locate the tourists and accompany them, safe and frightened, back on the road to Marinedda.
