State Road 128 undergoes a makeover: work has begun on the Mandas section.

A further step forward in the safety of State Road 128 in the Mandas area. The detailed design for the planned works between kilometer 29 and kilometer 33 has been approved, with particularly significant work in the section between kilometer 30 and 31. The total investment amounts to €4 million . After receiving all necessary authorizations, the contract awarding phase is now underway. Construction is scheduled to begin between the end of July and September 1st.

The announcement was made by Mandas Mayor Umberto Oppus, who, at the end of an operational meeting held in the municipality of Alta Trexenta, expressed satisfaction with this long-awaited project and thanked the Anas technicians—regional manager Salvo Campione, Maria Rosaria Onnis, and designer Sergio Delle Femmine—as well as Walter Uccheddu and the owners of the affected land, who collaborated on the project.
