Over half a kilo of drugs, cartridges and a highly dangerous explosive device .

This is what the Sinnai Carabinieri found in the home of a 40-year-old local man , a man already known to the police who was arrested red-handed.

The officers stopped him on the street for a routine check and decided to proceed with a search, finding on him 13 doses of cocaine and one of marijuana ready for sale, as well as hundreds of euros in cash believed to be the proceeds of drug dealing.

They then decided to extend the search to the arrested man's home, which turned out to be a veritable drug storage and distribution hub. Inside were over half a kilo of narcotics, including cocaine, hashish, and marijuana .

During the search, illegally held rifle cartridges were also found, and even more alarmingly, a high-explosive device containing between 100 and 200 grams of explosive powder . While the military arrested the forty-year-old, personnel from the "Cacciatori Sardegna" Helicopter Squadron rushed to the scene and neutralized and secured the device .
