In an atmosphere of infinite emotion, the funeral of Maria Dolores Cannas, the 57-year-old mother killed on Sunday afternoon in her home by her son Andrea, took place in the afternoon in the parish church of Santa Barbara in Sinnai.

There was great emotion when the funeral procession reached the parish churchyard with the woman's husband, her daughter Francesca and the other close family members. Also waiting for the coffin was the mayor Barbara Pusceddu accompanied by Captain Giuseppe Fiori, commander of the local police.
