The New Amsterdam ship, which left seven days ago from the German port of Emden, arrived at the Cagliari canal port in the late afternoon today: on board numerous military vehicles destined to feed the NATO Noble Jump exercise, which will start tomorrow in the firing ranges of Sardinia. At anchor there is also the Ark Germany.

It is foreseeable that in the next few hours and days to follow the passage of the columns on the roads leading towards Sulcis will continue , at the Capo Teulada range, where the gigantic base has been set up to house the approximately 3,000 soldiers who will be engaged in training.

The preparatory operations have been carried out to this day. It goes live from tomorrow, April 27, until May 14. The operations will be coordinated by the Nato Joint Force Command in Naples.

The Noble Jump, reads a note issued in the afternoon, "provides collective defense and a rapid military response to emerging crises".

Navy Captain William Urban, Chief Public Affairs of the JFC of Naples, assures: «The Noble Jump 23 exercise demonstrates that NATO is united, ready and willing to defend the allies. It is an affirmation of our determination and our abilities».
