It was a busy night on Viale La Playa, where a 34-year-old man was arrested by the Carabinieri on suspicion of improper robbery . According to initial reports, the suspect—born in Germany, homeless, and already known to law enforcement—forced a back door to a store to gain entry and steal food and consumer goods worth approximately €225.

When he tried to run away, he was caught by a security guard who tried to stop him. To gain his escape, the man allegedly reacted by forcefully shoving the security guard, sparking a fight.

The timely arrival of a patrol from the Carabinieri Mobile Radio Unit prevented the situation from escalating. The officers apprehended the suspect and recovered the stolen goods.

After the ritual formalities, the man was held in the holding cells of the Provincial Command , awaiting the summary trial scheduled for this morning by order of the judicial authorities.
