Scary accident on the coast road that connects Alghero to Bosa. For reasons yet to be ascertained , a car ended up at the bottom of an embankment .

The driver, a 47-year-old man, was transported aboard the Areus helicopter rescue in code red directly to the emergency room of the Santissima Annunziata civil hospital in Sassari. His condition was not serious. The accident happened around 5pm at kilometer 15, one of the dangerous sections of the road which has seen several accidents.

The driver lost control of the car and crashed into a cliff . The firefighters of the Sassari command were also on site to recover the car and make it safe.
