The situation of the waiting lists does not improve one iota. Despite the targeted resources, the incentives for doctors, the measures to extend the times of disbursements a bit (scarce, to tell the truth, because in general on the weekend practically everything is closed), despite the start of the measures required by the national law to attack the nightmare, Sardinian patients still have many difficulties in accessing care. And the reform of the CUP, the Single Booking Center, announced in recent days, has just started: there will be a tender for a new and much more efficient service, but we will not see the results for at least a year.

The overall benefits provided to Sardinians, by the public and private sector, have collapsed. In five years, one million less: they were 8,058,407 in 2019, they fell to 7,039,344 in 2024.
