In the large hall of the cultural center of Macomer , last night, the discontent of an area with the serious health situation was represented, where there is a lack of general practitioners and where it becomes difficult to get an appointment for the various specialist visits.

An event organized by the Committee for the Protection of Health of Marghine, at the end of which the mayors of the area were asked to organize an appointment open to the participation of the general management of the ASL of Nuoro, associations of patients, voluntary organizations, trade unions and committee, to take stock of the situation together, with "objective and certified data", on the extent and quality of the services and benefits provided in the Macomer polyclinic and in the territory .

During the assembly the triumphalistic tones exposed in a document of the general directorate on the state of health in Marghine were contested. "Some statements - it has been reported - remain such until they are realized".

Precisely on general practitioners, with the extraordinary outpatient clinics of the territorial community (Ascot), according to what was said yesterday evening, the ASL gave only a partial answer, with the concession of 3 hours for two days a week. "The others are statements - says the president of the Committee, Francesco Nieddu - we will monitor until these announced initiatives materialize".

The discomfort that risks becoming a drama in the rehabilitation center was then underlined, where the physiotherapists work with difficulty and where the doctor in charge will soon be retired . Oddities and confusion have been reported regarding reservations and waiting lists, due to incorrect communication between the offices of the Macomer clinic and the regional Cup.

A demonstration, that of yesterday, which anticipates the demonstration of next Saturday in Cagliari, where a large representation of Marghine will participate.
