“Leaving aside the single ASL, we are still far from the objectives stated in the new model introduced by the Solinas Council. There is a lack of intermediate care and prevention structures, there is no Network, especially in support of the most fragile population , there is a lack of programming, from primary care for family doctors to hospital. The emergency rooms are exhausted, the waiting lists are getting longer, the surgeries are postponed , many areas of the island do not even have a minimum level of guaranteed care ".

The list of problems is long. To claim adequate and efficient health care for all Sardinians, thousands of people took to the streets today in Cagliari.

A large demonstration organized by CGIL, CISL, and UIL , which was joined by dozens of associations and committees with participants from all over the island.
The request is - once again - loud and clear, the appeal to the President of the Region is to open a table with the trade unions as soon as possible.
