There are ten routes that Ryanair delivers to Olbia in its first Gallura "landing". The Irish company arrives at the Costa Smeralda for the first time in its history, and presents the summer season with three national and seven international connections .

It did so in the rural cathedral of Nostra Signora di Castro, in Oschiri, with the voice of chief commercial officer Jason McGuinness : «We will offer northern Sardinia over 230 weekly flights on 33 routes, carrying 1.2 million passengers», he explains before return to the company's usual "battle", «without that hateful additional municipal tax of 6.50 euros per passenger, the company is ready to invest and reach 2 million passengers».

The three national routes will be those for Bergamo, Trieste (which returns to the island after the Cagliari "cut") and Bologna , while the foreign ones will be for Dublin, London, Paris, Brussels, Krakow, Vienna and Copenhagen , for a total of sixty weekly flights: «The routes activated», comments the route manager of Olbia airport Mario Garau, «are perfectly structured with respect to the traffic of our airport and our destination».

And for a Costa Smeralda that knows its thirty-ninth company, there is an Alghero Fertilia that is growing, with the addition of Frankfurt to the 22 (confirmed) routes of last year, and a growth in flight frequency of 12%.
