When humanity and the desire to help others transcend all obstacles and public safety duties. This happened in Mandas , where the Carabinieri from the local station bought groceries for a family who, in a moment of extreme difficulty, asked for the support of the force.

The incident occurred yesterday, when the dramatic report reached the police station: there was no food in the house. Upon their arrival, the Carabinieri found themselves faced with a real and urgent situation with no quick solution : despite the immediate activation of institutional assistance channels, the responses received from social services and the Food Bank officials did not allow for immediate resolution. Essentially, the documents needed to access the aid protocols were missing .
Faced with the prospect of a family forced to go without food, the station commander and his Carabinieri decided to act with a spirit of generosity, buying everything the family needed out of their own pockets and guaranteeing concrete support in their time of need.
