Stop the uncontrolled decibels on the Quartese coast. Mayor Graziano Milia, with an ordinance signed today, confirms the prohibitions decided last year after the chaos along the Poetto : musical entertainment until midnight during the week (from Sunday to Thursday), until 1 in the morning on Friday and on Saturday. The rules decided well in advance by the mayor - the same as in 2022 - will be in force from 1 June until 30 September.

A fine of 500 euros is envisaged for those who transgress the provisions of the ordinance. The ordinance underlines the fact that "the use of sound diffusion devices has created and creates serious disturbance to the public peace".

Reason that led the mayor of Quartese to "confirm, also for the current year, the time of use of sound diffusion devices that could disturb the public peace, in bathing establishments and in food sales and administration establishments and beverages found in state-owned maritime areas". The ordinance also recalls that " during the times in which the use of sound emission devices is authorized, the limits of the municipal noise classification plan must be respected ". Limits ranging from 40 to 70 decibels, depending on the acoustic classes and times, and compliance must be demonstrated by an acoustic impact forecast report.
