Slightly higher than normal values were found this morning in the daily measurements of the facility's water. For this reason, as a precaution and without any cases being detected, the municipal swimming pool on Via degli Sport in Cagliari was closed, requiring anti-legionellosis treatment of the sanitary water network at the Monte Mixi plant.

The work, entrusted to the company appointed by the Municipality of Cagliari, will take place from 7:00 am to 1:00 pm on Thursday, July 17, ensuring maximum safety for all users . Pool operations will resume only once the work is completed and safety standards have been verified.

"There's no cause for alarm: this is a preventative and precautionary health measure," emphasized Sports Councilor Giuseppe Macciotta. "We felt it was necessary to carry it out based on the measurements recorded by the maintenance company. And there were no cases."
