Portoscuso, an arrest for drug dealing: cocaine seized

A simple check on the road led to the arrest of a young man in Portoscuso .

A 21-year-old local man was driving a man's car and, stopped by the carabinieri of Iglesias' Radiomobile, was unable to give any indications as to why he was behind the wheel of a car that was not his. The military then accompanied him to the land of a 27-year-old, owner of the car and already known to the police, where they found 15 grams of cocaine, packaging material in doses and a precision scale.

The 27-year-old ended up in handcuffs for drug dealing, the arrest was validated: nine months' imprisonment, the (suspended) sentence negotiated and a 1000 euro fine.
