Two cars were destroyed by the flames that broke out in the portico of a building in Via Lussu. The tongues of fire partially damaged a garage and blackened the faces.

There was a risk that the fire could cause further damage to the building.

During the operations to put out the flames by the Porto Torres fire brigade team, assisted by colleagues from the Sassari headquarters, who intervened with tankers, an intervention which lasted a total of an hour, a family who occupied an apartment on the first floor, was evacuated as a precaution due to thick smoke . They returned to their home once it was made safe.

This time the consequences could have been much more serious. The carabinieri of the Porto Torres company are also on site and investigating the incident.
