Thirteen arrests, 31 reports, administrative fines totaling €73,382, and the seizure of €22,825. This is the result of a nationwide police operation, coordinated by the Central Operations Service, to combat criminal activities connected to the Chinese community in Italy: illegal immigration, exploitation of prostitution and labor, product counterfeiting, drug dealing, and illegal possession of weapons.

In Cagliari, officers from the Widespread Crime Section of the Flying Squad followed up on a tip received via the YouPol app: a constant flow of men from an apartment in the Is Mirrionis neighborhood. The investigation confirmed the residents' suspicions: a brothel had been set up in the apartment. Investigators identified a Chinese national, illegally residing in Italy, employed as a prostitute and exploited by another Chinese national who acted as a madam. The latter was charged with alleged exploitation of prostitution and aiding and abetting illegal immigration.

During the search, officers found sexual instruments and €6,500 in cash. The Immigration Office notified the young prostitute of her expulsion from Italy.

Also in the Cagliari area, officers from the Flying Squad, the Flying Squad, and the police stations of Quartu Sant'Elena, Carbonia, and Iglesias carried out checks on ten commercial establishments managed by Chinese entrepreneurs, identifying 85 individuals.

The same operation was also conducted in Ancona, Bergamo, Bologna, Brescia, Catania, Cosenza, Florence, Forlì Cesena, Genoa, Latina, Mantua, Milan, Padua, Parma, Perugia, Pistoia, Prato, Reggio Emilia, Rome, Siena, Treviso, Udine, Verona, and Vicenza.
