A motorcycle procession behind the coffin of the forty-six year old who died two days ago after an accident in viale RepubblicaThe engines roar for a farewell. Young and old in the saddle give gas when the coffin of Sandro Beccu appears outside the Blessed Maria Gabriella church in Nuoro , who died on Saturday afternoon at the San Francesco hospital: he was hospitalized in intensive care after being involved in an accident in the avenue Republic ( HERE THE NEWS ).
He was on a motocross bike when, perhaps due to a reckless manoeuvre, he crashed into a car driven by a woman. The injuries sustained were too serious and an emergency surgery was useless: just under 24 hours after the accident, the organ harvesting procedure started.
Beccu was well known in Nuoro: a motorcycle enthusiast, he had recently started a sales business in the sector.
This morning the church was packed for the last farewell. And the hearse was followed by a long procession of roaring motorbikes, up to the cemetery.
