A series of thefts and car damages have occurred along the Gallura coastline. This is what has happened in recent weeks, with numerous reports of cars—belonging to both residents and tourists—with windows smashed and interiors ransacked. A criminal gang, composed of several individuals, was responsible, and was dismantled by Porto Cervo Police Station personnel.

The investigation, conducted confidentially, led to the identification of the culprits: they operated in various areas of Gallura. They were caught red-handed, attempting yet another break-in. After being photographed at the Olbia police station, they were issued a mandatory expulsion order, banning them from returning to the municipality of Arzachena, and were reported to the Tempio Pausania judicial authorities . This measure is compounded by a proposal, currently under consideration, to implement special surveillance.

During the operation, other individuals belonging to separate groups involved in residential burglaries with similar operational methods were also identified. The searches conducted resulted in the recovery of numerous stolen items, which have already been returned to their rightful owners .
