Near tragedy on the Olbia-Tempio road: boulder landslides on the roadway while a car is passing
Road closed as a precaution for a few hours and then reopened

A boulder collapsed, in the very early hours of today, on the roadway of the Olbia Tempio provincial road , a few kilometers from the town of Luras.
The alarm went off around two in the morning . The Fire Brigade, the Carabinieri of Tempio and the staff of the Province of Sassari intervened on the spot.
The road that connects Olbia to Alta Gallura was closed as a precaution for a few hours , all traffic was diverted to Telti Calanginus Tempio. Then, around 13, the reopening.
According to the first checks by the Fire Brigade, the boulder detached from the ridge overlooking the Provincial road, apparently the landslide ended up on the roadway just as a car passed , fortunately there were no consequences for the passengers.
In the afternoon, an inspection on behalf of the province by some geologists, called to verify the causes of some small landslides that are taking place along the road.
