Firefighters responded to the scene shortly before 4:30 a.m. last night following a traffic accident on State Road 554, just before the Quartucciu traffic light intersection. For reasons currently under investigation, a car and a van collided . Following the impact, the van crashed into the guard rail, also hitting several cars parked in an area adjacent to the state road.

A team from the Cagliari Fire Brigade's Operations Center intervened to secure the vehicles involved and the roadway. One person was injured in the accident , who was treated by paramedics and taken to the hospital. However, initial reports suggest his life is not in danger.

Two ambulances, dispatched by the local emergency service, and law enforcement responded to the scene to conduct investigations and conduct legal checks. During the operation, a section of the road was closed to traffic, diverting traffic to one lane only.
