Failure to comply with self-monitoring procedures (HACCP) ; lack of a regular water supply for the provision of drinking water; lack of temperature detection devices inside refrigerated display cases; failure to comply with the requirement to wear the prescribed professional clothing for handling food.

These are some of the violations found by the Carabinieri of the NAS of Cagliari during checks carried out on food trucks stationed in the Poetto area selling sandwiches and drinks.
"The military's primary objective," a statement explains, "was to verify strict compliance with industry health and hygiene regulations, with particular attention to preventing the risk of botulism and microbiological contamination."

As mentioned, the military found several violations, and in two cases, activities were temporarily suspended for six days, pending the restoration of suitable conditions.
At the same time, strict compliance requirements were imposed to address the structural deficiencies identified, and administrative fines totaling more than €4,000 were imposed.
