A sign of belonging and hope illuminated Easter night in Mandas. The municipal administration, led by Mayor Umberto Oppus, decided to turn on the entire lighting of the Town Hall, including all sides of the building and its main entrances, in a gesture full of meaning for the entire community.

The initiative, conceived specifically for Easter Sunday, was presented by the mayor as a tribute to his fellow citizens: to those who live in the town today and to those who are no longer with us, but who continue to be part of our collective memory. "The Town Hall is everyone's home and the symbol of our beautiful community," Oppus emphasized, highlighting the Town Hall's identity-building value as a civic and social hub.

The special lighting isn't an isolated gesture, however. The mayor has announced that starting Tuesday, the administration will return to work with a specific goal: to make the Town Hall area even more well-maintained and welcoming. This small but significant intervention aims to strengthen the bond between institutions and citizens during a symbolic moment like Easter.
