Macomer: courses started in the Art Therapy school

Twelve students, aspiring art therapy professionals. With the collaboration of the Soleanima cooperative, which makes the premises available, courses were launched in recent days in the art therapy school, managed by the Artile study center, for the training of highly qualified professionals.

The courses allow you to carry out music therapy, art therapy, dance and movement therapy and theater therapy courses. The students who are attending the courses come from Nuoro, Baronia, Oristano and Olbia, but with the aim of also involving local schools, on the initiative of the Soleanima cooperative.

«It is a three-year course, where professional training is proposed for the acquisition of the title of art therapist - explains Niccolò Cattich, psychiatrist and analyst of the Italian society of individual psychology - these are laboratories which are often integrated with other disciplines and where you have new experiences. It therefore proposes dissemination, training and research activities, integrating the different disciplines of art therapy". The training meeting is entitled "Myth and Narration of the Self", Cattich himself explains why to Macomer: «Because it is a centrally located town and therefore a very convenient logistical location. Compared to Nuoro, for example, it is easily reachable by train."

Artile avails itself of the close collaboration of the Soleanima cooperative, which has among its collaborators Antonio Dettori, Sardinian tutor for the Artile study centre. «The courses will continue in the coming months - says the president of the Soleanima cooperative, Mara Pintori - we are hosting the workshops, which constitute an important result and which give prestige to our town, with the aim of involving local schools».
