Immense crowd for the farewell to Fabio Piga, even a picket from the Army for the "gentle giant"

The parish of Sant'Elia was too small to contain the hundreds of friends who wanted to say goodbye for the last time to Fabio Piga, the 37-year-old former carabiniere killed with a deadly blow on the night between Saturday and Sunday inside the Donegal pub of via Caprera.

The "gentle giant" , as his friends called him, was not forgotten by his former colleagues in the Carabinieri: a guard of honor from the National Association of Carabinieri welcomed the coffin in the church and, among the pews, the leaders of the Well deserved in the city.
