The trial of Ciro Grillo and his three Genoese friends, Francesco Corsiglia, Edoardo Capitta and Vittorio Lauria , accused of gang rape against a 19-year-old Italian-Norwegian student and one of her friends, resumes tomorrow in the Court of Tempio Pausania.

On October 19, the hearings were postponed due to lack of adequate monitors and microphones in the courtroom : the Court had recognized the lack of technological tools complained of by the defense team. Now, however, new screens and microphones have appeared in the classroom.

The violence dates back to 17 July 2019 in the villa of Beppe Grillo's family , in a residence in Porto Cervo, on the Costa Smeralda. Seven witnesses called to testify by the prosecutor Gregorio Capasso will be heard : they are the three doctors of the Mangiagalli Clinic in Milan who visited the young Italian-Norwegian nine days after the alleged sexual assault, the gynecologist Marta Castiglioni, the psychologist Laila Micci and the coroner Vera Gloria Merelli.

The owners of the Porto Pollo b&b where the two girls stayed during their holiday in Sardinia will also speak, and the kitsurf instructors who met the Italian-Norwegian student on the beach for a lesson the afternoon after the alleged rape.
