The encouraging data from May were confirmed in June. Federalberghi Nord Sardegna noted a significant growth trend for both the hotel and non-hotel sectors.

For the entire hotel sector in the province, the room occupancy rate reached 77.01% in June 2025, a significant improvement compared to 72.82% in the same month in 2024. The bed occupancy rate also increased, reaching 67.26% compared to 64.23% the previous year, confirming a positive trend.

In this context, the Alghero destination performed better than the provincial average, with a room occupancy rate of 78.03% (compared to 74.65% in June 2024) and a bed occupancy rate of 69.25% (compared to 67.69% in June 2024), demonstrating its strong attractiveness.

Stefano Visconti, president of Federalberghi Northern Sardinia, comments: "We've seen a clear increase in occupancy rates, both in the hotel and non-hotel sectors, a sign that our region continues to be a highly sought-after destination. This success is the result of a concerted effort: primarily from the dynamism of our operators, but also from the excellent work done by the airport management companies of Alghero and Olbia and the widespread promotion of Sardinia's tourism product, which has successfully highlighted our region's unique qualities. However, we are aware that we still have a long way to go and that we must continue working to consolidate and further improve these performances, investing in quality, services, and seasonal adjustments to successfully meet the challenges ahead."
