A commitment set just last Friday for this morning in Sassari causes the discussion in the trial against the governor Christian Solinas and the councilor Valeria Satta expected before the judge of the preliminary hearings Ermengarda Ferrarese to skip.

The President of the Region must sign an agreement with the University of Sassari and with the Banco di Sardegna for a loan of 120 million euros, part of the billion and 300 million provided by the Ministry of University and Research (funds from the Pnrr), which will serve to create a society active in the field of ecosystems and innovation. Thus, given the legitimate impediment, the appointment at the courthouse was postponed for three days.

Solinas, defended by the lawyer Salvatore Casula, and Satta, assisted by the lawyer Massimiliano Ravenna, are under indictment for the appointment , in June 2019, of the lawyer Silvia Curto and the engineer Antonio Pasquale Belloi respectively as director general of the presidency of the Region and of the regional civil protection: assignments obtained, according to the prosecutor Andrea Vacca and the Guardia di Finanza of Cagliari, in the absence of the required requisites. Both answer for abuse of office , the commissioner also for attempted extortion. The third accused is Maria Grazia Vivarelli, administrative magistrate and chief of staff of Solinas. Assisted by criminal lawyer Rinaldo Lai, she is accused of undue induction in the same case and has chosen the shortened procedure. The hearing is scheduled for Thursday, the same day in which the preliminary hearing of the President of the Region and the councilor will be discussed.
