Everything is ready for tonight's pilgrimage on foot from Sinnai to the basilica of Bonaria. The theme of this extraordinary appointment is that of peace.

Not for nothing will the bishop of the Ukrainian city of Lviv, Monsignor Mieczyslaw Mokrzycki, be there. An extraordinary figure at this time and who will be accompanied in Sinnai by Monsignor Baturi, archbishop of Cagliari. The pilgrimage is now in its 37th edition. It will once again be organized by the association "Il Segno" and the parish of Santa Barbara. The last appointment dates back to 2018 when Monsignor Paolo Pezzi, archbishop of the Holy Mother of God of Moscow celebrated Mass in the square of the Sant'Isidoro district in Sinnai.

The event calendar includes a happening tonight from 10.30 pm with the Il pentagramma choir, a performance by the Arabesque and Giselle dance schools. At midnight and 15 on April 25, the celebration of mass with the bishop of Lviv. There is so much curiosity around this presence. After mass, the pilgrimage will begin with the first stop in via Roma, on the outskirts of Sinnai, at the chapel of the Madonna di Bonaria. The presence of the “S'Arrodia” choir is expected. At 4.30 another refreshment stop, this time, at the oratory of the Salesians of Selargius. The wayfarers of prayer will continue their journey around 5 am, also crossing the streets of Monserrato and Pirri, before arriving in Cagliari.

At 8, the prayer procession should be in Bonaria to be welcomed by Monsignor Baturi. Then back home, this time by car and bus, after a long night on foot. Announce at least a thousand people and several groups from some localities in Sardinia devoted to the Madonna of Bonaria.
