The project for the reorganization of the urban road system of Decimomannu will soon be presented to the Council, which includes changes in almost all the city districts, also affecting the main arteries including the streets Nazionale, Cagliari, Stazione and Corso Umberto.

Within six months Decimo will be literally revolutionized . The outskirts and the historic city center will not be spared from the changes. In the Aie area, via Mozart will be made one-way towards via Garibaldi, while via Milano and via Nino Bixio will go up towards via delle Aie opposite to via Torino which will change direction. In the school area via Giacomo Leopardi will become one-way going up towards viale Italia, the parallel via Satta will be able to be traveled in the opposite direction towards via Liguria and via Petrarca will become entirely one-way towards corso Umberto. Revolution also in Sa Serra, where the residential area will be established, and in San Giacomo where some one-way streets will be established.

Important changes also for via Regina Elena, which will become one-way in the direction of corso Umberto, via Cagliari, which will become one-way from via Nazionale to the intersection with via Riu Concias, and via Parrocchia which will be one-way towards via Dritta. The latter will only be accessible towards Santa Greca. Finally, a section of corso Umberto will reverse the direction of travel, while a part of via Stazione will become one-way.
