Decimomannu, 30-year-old hits his partner: red code triggered

Carabinieri intervened in Decimomannu to remove a 30-year-old man from the family home, after repeated mistreatment of his partner.
The soldiers, alerted by the Operations Centre following a report to 112, arrived at the house after yet another attack.
The woman, visibly shaken and with clear signs of beatings, was immediately taken to the Emergency Medical Service, where doctors found injuries that were judged to heal in a few days.
Given the seriousness of the situation and the immediate risk to the victim's safety, the Carabinieri have therefore adopted the precautionary measure of urgently removing the 30-year-old, a measure which also includes a ban on approaching all places usually frequented by the woman.
The Red Code protocol has also been activated. The subsequent decisions on the matter will now be taken by the Cagliari Judicial Authority.
