Carbonia: the last farewell to Renato Scanu, the radio commentator killed by ALS

The coffin covered with a Cagliari flag, signed by the players, the church of San Ponziano packed to give the last farewell to Renato Scanu , Sulcis' historic radio commentator. Known for his radio commentary following Carbonia football and Cagliari, as well as for numerous other sports such as volleyball, always traveling around Europe covering numerous matches in foreign championships.

Renato had been living with ALS since 2019, he never stopped fighting against, as he called it - The Monster -, he was carrying out a fundraiser to be allocated to the fight against ALS, receiving many shirts of world champions in sports, collected which will be carried on by family members.
