It was back in 1951 when Giovanni Perdighe and Anna Porcu decided to get married and after 70 years they celebrated this anniversary surrounded by children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He is a miner, she is a housewife, the 5 children define them as "exemplary parents who have passed on to us the important values of life".

Today, with extreme lucidity, he and 89 she love to tell the difficult post-war years to the 11 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren with whom they hope to be able to celebrate their platinum wedding in 5 years on the occasion of the 75th anniversary.
