Cagliari, the trial of the night bus begins: three lines in service

They have already named it the "nightlife line" : since yesterday, every Saturday night, every 30 minutes from midnight to 4.30 in the morning, the ER bus (red circular) connects the center of Cagliari with the areas where the discos are located (up to Quartu, Pirri etc), round trip, and allows those who frequent night clubs to leave the car at home.

The new Ctm service, which started with three lines (Red Circolare, precisely, Flumini Circular, for Poetto and Margine Rosso, and 9, for Elmas, Assemini and Decimomannu) with the aim of offering an alternative to using the car to move around the nightlife, it's a success. The many young people who used the service were enthusiastic and who, for once, were able to do without calling mum and dad to pick them up in the middle of the night after an evening spent at the disco. But the workers who took advantage of the new CTM service to leave their cars at home are also satisfied.

We like the punctuality of the buses, with real-time updates on the CTM BusFinder app. We also like (a lot) the fact that there is a security guard on board each vehicle.

Next Saturday it will be repeated. The service will continue (on an experimental basis) until June.
