The puppets in memory of Daniele Ulver are no longer there. The 14-month-old baby who was overwhelmed in via Cadello , Cagliari , while he was on a stroller pushed by his mother, did not have time to know the joy of play and the comfort of the company of a soft toy.

Mother and son were on the pedestrian crossing when the scooter driven by 37-year-old Emilio Pozzolo crashed on them at high speed. A tragedy: the little boy had died instantly.

Since that terrible day, puppets, flowers, tickets had been placed on the sidewalk next to where the lifeless body lay, all in memory of the child. And not to forget that you run too much on that road. They have now been removed.

They had been there for months: a warning to motorists and administration. Useless. Because only the dust that covered the bears moved. The promised bollards did not show up. Not even a speed camera. Via Cadello is still a high-speed road.
