Clamorous protest by a group of street vendors from Cagliari , who this morning blocked traffic first in via Roma, then in Largo Carlo Felice and subsequently on the side of the port , the only passable, sitting in the middle of the street shouting "We want to work ”.
The raid, which created serious inconvenience to the traffic around the Town Hall, was decided after the mayor Paolo Truzzu refused to meet a delegation of the owners of the bar trucks, known in the city as "caddazzoni", who have been asking for change for some time of the regulation on public land concessions. In recent weeks, the raids by Nas and the local police have multiplied, and following the discovery of irregularities, they have seized the activities.

Under Palazzo Bacaredda there are about twenty fierce demonstrators. Tension has risen suddenly but the presence of Municipal agents and Carabinieri is massive. A car forced the blockade and was surrounded and beaten.

The 118 is also in action to help one of the demonstrators who has fallen ill.

The protesters have been offered a meeting to be scheduled for next week and the street vendors, to put an end to the proposal, have asked for the commitment to be put in writing.
