Cagliari, after five months via Porcell reopens

Some Cagliari motorist is still bewildered: "Can we go to via Porcell ?". Yes, starting today you can. The barriers piled up on the sidewalk in the early morning give the green light. From this morning the road that connects Stampace to Castello is reopened to the circulation of cars after five months .

The Municipality has freed it (solved the problem by the University of the ficus which risked collapsing the perimeter wall of the university department) but has not yet restored the "old" road network. For the moment, in fact, via Anfiteatro continues only uphill, while via Fiume has returned to the old one-way street, climbing towards Castello .

With the reopening of via Giussani, after the feast of Sant'Efisio, all the viability of the area will return to normal.
