He was dealing heroin in the city center and, at the sight of the carabinieri, he tried to get rid of the narcotic substance: ten heat-sealed cellophane packages. A man in trouble who was arrested in flagrante delicto yesterday morning, Sunday 25 May, in Alghero. In particular, during a routine patrol aimed at preventing crime and ensuring the safety of the community, the carabinieri, passing through the city streets already crowded with tourists, noticed a strangely restless man.

The military then decided to approach for a check and it was at that moment that the suspect attempted to get rid of the drugs. Following a search, among other things, he was found in possession of some doses of marijuana and the total sum of 260 euros, likely believed to be the proceeds of drug dealing.

The search was then extended to the home where 2 more grams of heroin, 54 grams of marijuana, 110 milligrams of methadone, various materials used to package the doses, 2 electronic scales and the sum of 1800 euros in cash were found. At the end of the ritual activities, the judge validated the arrest and ordered the man to be placed under house arrest.
